Dr. Michael R. MacDonald
The world is still mourning the loss of the late Pope Francis.
We will miss his compassionate presence and messages of kindness and hope.
Much has been written about Pope Francis, his authenticity and his deep devotion to helping others at all levels of society, religious or not.
I would like to add one extra tribute.
One Little Thing
Our lovely daughter found this short poem on Pinterest, which has been attributed to Pope Francis. I found it so moving and hope you will too.
Rivers do not drink their own water;
trees do not eat their own fruit;
the sun does not shine on itself;
and flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves.
Living for others is a rule of nature.
We are all born to help each other., no matter how difficult it is.
Life is good when you are happy; but much better when others are happy because of you.
Wow, this deep and eloquent message went straight to my heart. I can’t help reading it over and over and really letting it sink in.
I Hope You You Didn’t Miss Out
