Some Very Kind Thoughts
As part of my research for 101+ Pathways, I re-read a book I enjoyed a few years ago. I loved it almost as much the second time.
It is called Originals: How Non-conformists Move the World by Adam Grant.
You can read about Grant and his many books and accomplishments (and there are many). I recommend you do read it.
But what really stuck out for me was a quote by Sheryl Sandberg in the book’s Foreword. Sandberg writes,
“In the deepest sense of the word, a friend is someone who sees more potential in you than you see in yourself, someone who helps you become the best version of yourself. The magic of this book is that Adam becomes that kind of friend to everyone who reads it.”
Such an inspiring example of generosity of spirit, which is a main theme of 101+ Pathways.
I hope we can all find some people in life that can be that kind of friend.
I also hope you love 101+ Pathways and tell everyone about it.
